KPV is the C-terminal tripeptide of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone, corresponding to residues 11 to 13 of alpha-MSH. At three residues it is small enough that the PepXtide structural library renders every hydrogen atom rather than an implicit-hydrogen model.
