Question 1

How do I place an order?

Accepted Answer

Choose a compound, pick the size you want, add it to the cart and check out. Each size is its own SKU with its own price, so the total updates when you change the selection. Checkout is as a guest: there are no customer accounts on the store at the moment.

Question 2

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

The methods currently enabled are the ones shown on the checkout page. Payment processing for this category changes regularly, so checkout is the accurate answer rather than a list here that could go stale. If the method you want is not offered, contact us before ordering. Card payment is taken on our payment partner's secure page, and the charge appears on your statement under the partner's name, not PepXtide.

Question 3

Why does my card statement show a name that is not PepXtide?

Accepted Answer

Card payments are processed by our payment partner and appear under its name. If you do not recognise a charge, email info@pepxtides.com with the date and amount before disputing it; we answer within one business day.

Question 4

My card was declined. What happened?

Accepted Answer

Almost always the issuing bank, not us. The common causes are a billing address that does not match the card exactly, an out of date expiry or security code, an international or high risk block on the account, or a daily limit. Check the billing details first, then call the number on the back of the card.

Question 5

Why would a payment be held for review?

Accepted Answer

Larger orders, a shipping address that differs from the billing address, or a first order from a new account can all trigger a manual check. It is a fraud control, not a judgement about you. Reviews are normally cleared the same business day and we email you from info@pepxtides.com if anything more is needed.

Question 6

Is checkout secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The whole site is served over TLS and card details are handled by the payment processor directly. We never see or store a full card number.

Question 7

Do I need an account to order?

Accepted Answer

No, and you could not open one if you wanted to. Customer accounts are switched off on the store at the moment, so there is nothing to register for and nothing to sign in to. Every order goes through as a guest. Keep your order number and we can pick up any question about that order from there.

Question 8

Can I change or cancel an order?

Accepted Answer

Contact us as soon as possible. If the order has not been dispatched we can change or cancel it. Once it has shipped it falls under the returns policy instead.

Question 9

Can I use more than one discount code on an order?

Accepted Answer

One code per order. The first-order code from our email list works alongside bundle and quantity pricing, as long as the order stays above what it costs us to fill; if a code cannot be used on an order, checkout says so before you pay. First-order codes do not apply to Subscribe & Save items.

Question 10

Do you offer bulk or wholesale pricing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Bulk and recurring institutional orders are quoted individually, including custom quantities and consolidated documentation. Contact us with the compounds, quantities and cadence you need.

Question 11

Can I resell your products?

Accepted Answer

Resale arrangements are agreed in writing beforehand, not assumed. Anything resold has to carry the same research use only labelling and lot documentation it left here with. Contact us to discuss terms.

Question 12

How quickly do orders ship?

Accepted Answer

Orders are dispatched within one business day. Orders placed at a weekend or on a public holiday go out on the next business day. Tracking is available from info@pepxtides.com once your order has shipped; carrier scans can take up to 24 hours to appear.

Question 13

Is shipping free?

Accepted Answer

US orders ship free at the moment, with no minimum order value, so there is nothing to add to qualify. The cost is shown in the cart before you pay, and it is the figure you are charged. Shipping outside the United States is arranged individually rather than sold online, so contact us before ordering from outside the US.

Question 14

How long does delivery take?

Accepted Answer

Most domestic orders arrive within two to five business days of dispatch, depending on the service and the destination. Transit time is the carrier's, not ours, and holidays and weather can extend it.

Question 15

How is my order packaged?

Accepted Answer

Discreetly and without any indication of contents on the outside. Vials are protected against light, moisture and impact. Everything is lyophilized and ships at room temperature; nothing ships cold.

Question 16

What happens in extreme heat?

Accepted Answer

Lyophilized peptides are stable at ambient temperature for the length of a normal transit, which is why they are shipped dry. Nothing ships cold. If you know a package will sit outside for hours, tell us and we will hold it for a better shipping day.

Question 17

Will delivery need a signature?

Accepted Answer

Standard orders are left without a signature. Higher value orders are sent signature required to protect both sides, and you can request a signature on any order in the notes at checkout.

Question 18

How do I track my order?

Accepted Answer

Tracking is available from info@pepxtides.com once your order has shipped; carrier scans can take up to 24 hours to appear.

Question 19

My tracking has not updated in a day or two. Should I worry?

Accepted Answer

Usually not. Packages routinely travel between sorting facilities without a scan, and a quiet stretch of 24 to 48 hours is normal, longer over a holiday weekend. If nothing has moved for five business days, contact us and we will open a trace with the carrier.

Question 20

Can I change the shipping address after ordering?

Accepted Answer

Only before dispatch. Contact us straight away. Once a label is printed the address cannot be changed and the package has to complete its journey or be returned to us first.

Question 21

Tracking says delivered but nothing arrived. What now?

Accepted Answer

Check other doors, with neighbours and with anyone else at the address, since carriers sometimes scan a parcel as delivered before the last stop. If it has not appeared in 24 hours, contact us with the order number and we will file a claim with the carrier.

Question 22

What if my package is delayed, lost or returned to sender?

Accepted Answer

Contact us with the order number. A confirmed lost package is replaced or refunded once the carrier closes the trace. A package returned to us for a bad or incomplete address can be reshipped once the address is corrected, with the return postage charged again.

Question 23

Do you ship internationally?

Accepted Answer

International destinations are handled case by case. Import rules for research chemicals vary widely and clearing customs is the buyer's responsibility, so contact us before ordering from outside the United States.

Question 24

Is my shipment insured?

Accepted Answer

Orders are shipped with carrier coverage appropriate to their value, and higher value orders carry additional insurance. Loss or damage in transit is dealt with through us, so raise it here rather than with the carrier.

Question 25

What is a Certificate of Analysis?

Accepted Answer

A COA is the laboratory report for one specific production lot. It records what the material was tested for, the method used, and the result. It applies to that lot alone, which is why a supplier publishing a single certificate for an entire product line tells you very little.

Question 26

What does HPLC verified mean?

Accepted Answer

High-performance liquid chromatography separates a sample into its components so the target compound can be measured against everything else present. It is the standard method for establishing peptide purity, and it produces the percentage figure shown on our certificates.

Question 27

How do I find the certificate for my vial?

Accepted Answer

Every published certificate is listed at /certificates under the laboratory's own identifier - a Report ID (for example KVR-2026-20675F) or a Laboratory ID - with its purity, method, testing lab and date. Search by compound name or by that ID. If you cannot match a certificate to your order, send us your order number and we will send the report.

Question 28

What happens if a lot fails testing?

Accepted Answer

It is not sold. It is not discounted, and it is not blended into another batch. Material that does not meet specification never reaches the catalog.

Question 29

What purity do your peptides test at?

Accepted Answer

We publish the measured figure per lot rather than a headline specification. Results are published exactly as the laboratory reported them, and a low figure is published the same way as a high one. The figure that matters is the one on the certificate for the lot you actually received, not a number on a marketing page, which is why every lot is published individually.

Question 30

Can I get the certificate for a lot that is not published yet?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Certificates go up as testing completes, so a very recent lot may not be listed the day it ships. Send us your order number and we will send the report as soon as it is published.

Question 31

What makes PepXtide different from other suppliers?

Accepted Answer

Batch documentation you can check before you buy: every published certificate names the testing laboratory and carries its Report ID or Laboratory ID. Anyone can claim a purity figure.

Question 32

How should I store the material when it arrives?

Accepted Answer

Lyophilized peptides are stable at room temperature in transit but should go into a freezer at -20C on arrival, kept sealed and away from light and moisture. Once reconstituted, store at 2-8C and use within the window noted on the product page.

Question 33

How do I reconstitute a lyophilized vial?

Accepted Answer

Let the vial reach room temperature before opening it, then introduce reconstitution water slowly down the inner wall rather than directly onto the powder. Let it dissolve without shaking, swirling gently if needed. The volume you add sets your working concentration, so record it against your order number at the time.

Question 34

How much water should I add?

Accepted Answer

That is your decision and it sets the concentration, not the potency. A 5mg vial in 1 mL gives 5 mg/mL; the same vial in 2 mL gives 2.5 mg/mL. Our peptide calculator works out the concentration and the volume to draw for any combination.

Question 35

The powder looks like a thin film rather than a solid cake. Is that a problem?

Accepted Answer

No. Lyophilized material can present as a solid cake, a thin film on the vial wall, or a loose deposit. All three are normal and none indicates a problem with the compound.

Question 36

How long does reconstituted material last?

Accepted Answer

Typically 30 days at 2-8C, protected from light, though this varies by compound and the product page is the reference. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles degrade peptides in solution, so aliquot first if you need longer-term storage.

Question 37

Are your peptides lyophilized or supplied in solution?

Accepted Answer

Lyophilized, meaning freeze dried to a dry powder. Dry material is far more stable in transit and in storage than the same compound in solution, and it lets you set the concentration you want when you reconstitute it.

Question 38

Are these compounds water soluble?

Accepted Answer

Most reconstitute readily in reconstitution water or sterile water. A few need a different solvent or a specific pH to go fully into solution, and where that is the case the product page states it. Never force material into solution by heating or shaking hard.

Question 39

Do you sell reconstitution water?

Accepted Answer

Solvents and consumables are listed in the shop with the compounds. Anything sold alongside the peptides is supplied on the same research use only basis.

Question 40

What syringes are best for measuring?

Accepted Answer

For laboratory measurement, the graduation matters more than the barrel size. A syringe whose smallest marking is close to the volume you are drawing gives a far more accurate measurement than a large barrel read near the bottom of its scale. Our peptide calculator shows the draw volume on a syringe diagram so it can be read directly against the markings.

Question 41

Are these products for human use?

Accepted Answer

No. Everything sold by PepXtide is supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. These are not drugs, foods, or dietary supplements, they are not for human or veterinary consumption, and they have not been evaluated by the FDA. We do not provide dosing guidance and will decline requests for it.

Question 42

What does research use only actually mean?

Accepted Answer

It means the material is sold as a laboratory reagent for in-vitro and research applications, and for nothing else. It is not a medicine, it has not been through the approval process a medicine goes through, and no claim is made about what it does in a person. Buying it commits you to using it that way.

Question 43

Who is allowed to buy from PepXtide?

Accepted Answer

Buyers must be at least 21, must be purchasing for legitimate research purposes, and must be qualified to handle laboratory materials safely. Placing an order confirms all three.

Question 44

Will I have to verify a business or institution?

Accepted Answer

Not for standard catalog orders. Bulk quantities, custom work and account terms are set up individually and we may ask about the institution and the intended research at that point.

Question 45

Can you help me choose a compound for my work?

Accepted Answer

We can tell you what a compound is, what its molecular data and purity are, how it behaves in handling and storage, and what it has been studied in the context of in the published literature. We cannot design your protocol or advise on use in a person, and we will say so plainly rather than give a partial answer.

Question 46

Do you give dosing information?

Accepted Answer

No. Not by email, not on the phone, not through the chat assistant, and not in a hypothetical. Anything relating to administration in a person is a question for a qualified healthcare professional, not a supplier of research materials.

Question 47

Why do some products have several sizes?

Accepted Answer

Each size is a separate SKU with its own lot and its own price. Pick the size on the product page and the price updates before you add it to the cart.

Question 48

What forms do products come in?

Accepted Answer

Mainly lyophilized powder in sealed vials. Blends, capsules, sprays and solvents appear in the catalog where they are stocked, and the form is stated on every product page.

Question 49

Can I combine several different products in one order?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Add whatever you need to the same cart and it ships together in one package, on one set of documentation.

Question 50

Will more compounds be added?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The catalog is added to as new material clears testing. If there is something specific you need and it is not listed, ask, since it may already be in the pipeline.

Question 51

Do you offer custom quantities?

Accepted Answer

For bulk and institutional buyers, yes. Custom fill sizes and repeat schedules are quoted individually.

Question 52

Something arrived damaged or incorrect. What do I do?

Accepted Answer

Photograph the package and the vials before unpacking any further and contact us within 48 hours of delivery with the order number. Breakages and picking errors are our problem to fix, and they are replaced.

Question 53

What is your return policy?

Accepted Answer

Unopened, undamaged product with intact seals can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund less shipping. Opened vials cannot be accepted back, because once a seal is broken the chain of custody and storage conditions can no longer be verified, and we will not resell material we cannot vouch for.

Question 54

How do I reach support?

Accepted Answer

Through the contact page. Include your order number if you have one, since it lets us answer in a single reply rather than a chain of questions.

Question 55

How long will it take to get an answer?

Accepted Answer

Most messages are answered the same business day, and anything sent overnight or at a weekend is answered on the next business day. Questions about a specific lot may take a little longer if a certificate has to be pulled.
